Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Naturally sweet honey crisp. Some yellow apple notes. Light hops.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Dry and bright with a light honey crisp base that is a bit naturally sweet. Hops are tea-like, with herby/minty cooling notes.
After Taste: Honey crisp notes become slightly drier. Some earthiness + grit emerges. Mild hops linger. Slightly saline.
On ice: Reduced flavour.
Additional Notes: Archibald’s Hops & Honey Crisp cider is a unique and light hopped cider overall. While made with honey crisp, it’s a bit naturally sweet like the apple, but still more on the dry side. It’s not very crisp, with minimal acidity. The hops are unique – teamaker hops that are bitterless. The hops add some brightness and mild spruce, tea and mint-like notes that are cooling.
