Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Light aroma. Crisp, sweet apples. Hints of cherry tartness.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Cherry skin notes. Semi-dry honeycrisp apples. Herby/earthy notes.
After Taste: Apple reduces. Cherry becomes slightly tart and more prominent. Ends on a dry cherry note with pepper/saison hints.
On ice: Lighter body. Slightly less cherry and apple.
Additional Notes: Apple Falls Cherry Crush is a light and sessionable cherry cider that stands out from other cherry-flavoured ciders we’ve had. Tasting like it’s infused on cherry skins rather than juice added at the finish like many on the market, as it’s smoother with a lighter cherry experience overall. We anticipated it to be sweeter upon seeing there were honeycrisp apples, but it’s mostly off-dry, becoming more dry in the finish. Unique notes of herbs and earthiness come through initially, with it changing to more of a pepper and saison note in the end.
