Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Light aroma. Mild tart cherry. Booze.
Initial Taste: Mild bite from carbonation. A soft, maraschino-like cherry. Light dessert apple. Semi-dry.
After Taste: Cherry becomes lighter, a bit drier. Some light fermentation notes linger a bit.
On ice: Almost removes carbonation. Minimal flavour change, other than maybe a bit more cherry-focused.
Additional Notes: 401 Cider’s Cherry Cider is a strong cider at 7.5%, but yet a light bodied offering. The infused cherry is soft, and a bit candied, but not very tart, and leans more maraschino-like. The apples are also light, tasting more common dessert varietals. It’s not too impactful flavour-wise, but pleasant overall. Leans more dry.
