Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet, semi-candied hops. Some lager-like elements.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Sweet apple with some fruity, lychee-like hops flavouring.
After Taste: Remains much cleaner than a typical hopped cider. It’s somewhat long lasting but with little bitter finish.
On ice: A little less carbonated.
Additional Notes: The 1911 Established Hopped Cider is a much sweeter and fruitier offering than most other hopped ciders we’ve had. It’ has a heavier body, but still easy to drink with only a little carbonation. Very tropical in nature (Lychee, starfruit) from the the hops.
