Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Pulpy and tart apple with some acidic elements. Some floral esters.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-dry and slightly acidic apples that are peel focused. Some crisp elements that also have a touch of funk with tart apple.
After Taste: Apple dissipates becoming a little bit more peel and fermentation focused in a normal length aftertaste. Some earthy/woodsy notes in the end.
On ice: Slight carbonation.
Additional Notes: The 1000 Island Cidery first Original Cider offering is a quintessential Canadian pub cider. Mostly dry, its semi-crisp and a bit tart. Some fermentation notes detectable. A little earthy in the end. Easy to drink (mindlessly, in a good way)
