Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Juicy, sweet green pear notes. Mild smoke + wood.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quick acidity. Bright and juicy pear. Pear peel and flesh notes. Slight woodiness. Natural sweetness from fruit.
After Taste: Pear flavour becomes cleaner and more sharp. Mild bitter notes that quickly appear. Sweetness dwindles and ends more dry.
On ice: Less carbonation. Smoother but less juicy. More sharp overall.
Additional Notes: Twin Pine’s Hammer Bent Perry is a very pear-forward, true to the fruit perry. Bright and juicy pears welcome you quickly and become more sharp as they go along. It’s off-dry but naturally sweet from the fruit. Smooth to consume and one of the more natural and authentic pear-tasting perries we’ve had, as well as the most crisp and clean. 1L is a perfect size to split for 2-4 people (or one if you’re adventurous as it’s not hard to want a second pint).
