Smell: Medium aroma. Candied maraschino cherry. Hint of tart red apple
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Sweet, slightly bright and delicate apples that are quickly overtaken by a thick, fresh/over-ripe cherry. Very tart cherry juice focused. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel.
After Taste: Cherry becomes somewhat less tart. Mild minerality. Long lingering taste that coats the mouth.
On ice: Slightly less tart and thinner mouth feel. Not as dry.
Additional Notes: The Puddicombe Cherry Cider is a thick, juicy cherry offering that’s candied and tart. Quick dessert apples are followed by fresh/ripe cherries that lingers a long time with slight film. Almost puckering tart cherry juice like. Rather full flavoured and full bodied overall.
