Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Light aroma. Pulpy apple. Hint of earthy herbs.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation but it’s tingly in the mouth. Earthy basil amongst the light, smooth apple base.
After Taste: Mild soothing mint comes through. Apple remains the same but becomes even lighter. Doesn’t linger long.
On ice: Cuts carbonation a lot. Lighter apple presence.

Additional Notes:  Slabtown’s Mint Basil is one of the lightest offerings we’ve had from this cidery thus far. With a smooth, pulpy apple base, you get a bit of earthy basil upfront and some mild smoothing mint near the finish, but it’s not too intense or ‘herby’. A very tingly carbonation in this cider – drink on ice if it is too much for you since it cuts it a lot.
