Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet, caramelized, pulpy bittersweet apples. Cellar/musty notes.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite, but quickly thick. Heavy and rich bittersweet apples that are caramelized. Underlying astringency that is dull. Syrupy golden apples with some mild tart notes.
After Taste: Apple remains similar, becomes slightly more dry. Cellar/aged/musty notes come through. Long lingering elements.
On ice: Much thinner. Reduced flavour. Less sweet.

Additional Notes:  Pierre Huet’s Cidre Bouché Brut is a rustic, aged beauty that can mentally transport you to an old world cellar. Very rich, it’s got a thick mouthfeel that is syrupy and leaves a film. Heavy bittersweet apples define this with caramelized notes, amongst some mild crab apple hints. Tastes very aged, with sharp cellar notes that taste like damp wood but trust us, if you’re a fan like us, its very delicious. Dry mouthfeel that is gritty and long lingering.
