Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Mild aroma. Quick tannic, sharp, bitter sharp apple notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation and acidity. Bold and sharp apple flavour. Punchy and tannic. Crab apple aspects, including thickness.
After Taste:  Apple flavour continues the same but also becomes funky in nature. Tannins make the mouth slightly dry. Becomes slightly more caramelized in taste at finish. Cleans out somewhat quick but with some slight filmy elements
On ice: Less carbonation. Less apple focused. Sweeter.

Additional Notes:  Dueling Banjos by Banjo Cider is a very sharp, crisp and acidic cider that offers bold apple flavour from start to finish. You get a medley of apple flavours here – crab apples, heritage, and dessert apples and you get the peel, flesh and tannic notes. Complex but not confusing for the palate. Some funk at the end, but rather clean and easy drinking.
