Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Earthy, fleshy sour apple. Musty and acidic.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation and acidity. Quick sour and sweet blend of apple flavours. Earthy and woody notes.
After Taste: Apple continues similar. Mustiness develops and lingers a while. Crisp finish with some mouth film. Honey notes.
On ice: Carbonation is cut drastically. More watered-down tasting. More crisp tasting.
Additional Notes: Fresh Apple Folkin’ Hard Cider does indeed taste fresh, being a mostly clean tasting/feeling and sessionable cider. While it features a lot of apple flavours, it is not in-your-face apple driven; also being sour, musty and earthy. Not an overly sweet cider, it comes across as a true country-made drink.
