Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright dessert apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Bright, naturally sweet dessert apple flavour. Some peel and tannins. Slightly tangy and decently crisp.
After Taste: Apples reduces slightly but little change from to aftertaste. Remains crisp and grows. Tannins linger awhile, but otherwise a clean finish.
On ice: Overall, little change, just lightly watered down.

Additional Notes: Ironwood Original Cider has been updated (from previous versions) from an earthy, incredibly dry offering to a sweeter, more dessert apple, very crisp offering in 2021/2022. Its smooth, easy to drink, light and clean. Some tannins and peel throughout – particularly at the finish. All about the apple flavours in this flagship offering.
