Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Funky, acetic pear. Tart strawberry.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite from acidity. Funky, dry, acetic pear. Minerality. Mild strawberries emerge after the first sour green apple-like note.
After Taste: Tart strawberry comes through stronger. Ends on some lingering vinegar and fermentation notes. Mild pear here.
On ice: Lowers acidity and sourness. Slightly more strawberry focused.

Additional Notes: Dirty Dog’s Strawperry is a funky journey of two fruits you don’t normally find together. Starting off rather acidic, it leans very funky and sour, and more pear-forward. It is decently acetic/vinegar-like, so you should like volatile acidity and this flavour profile to consider. The tart strawberry comes through stronger as the other elements dwindle, but there are lingering vinegar-like notes for a while. Very dry, minimal sweetness – little to no carbonation.
