Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet basil, floral notes and sugared strawberry. 
Initial Taste: Light bite. Strong, herby basil that leads the way followed by a 8candied and juicy strawberry. Minimal dessert apples noticeable upfront. Sweet body that adds to the mouthfeel.
After Taste: Strawberry cleans out leaving an earthy basil finish.  Some lingering crystalized sugar.
On ice: Thinner body, little change.

Additional Notes: The Strawberry Basil from Magnotta is a bold, sweet cider. Strawberry is present upfront, juicy and candied but the overwhelming taste is sweet. The basil is also quick, punchy and herby, but not too bitter.  There is a touch of dessert apples, but not much balance.  Finishes with a sweet and a syrupy finish, but might not be cloying to some.
