Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, green/candied apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Smooth, creamy and also tart green apple notes. Semi-sweet with a clean overall profile.  A lighter mouthfeel and elements but still with a lot of flavour.  No real acidity or tannins.
After Taste: A tangy apple base lingers with some natural sugars. A bit more dry in the final moments on the tongue.
On ice: Reduced body and intensity.

Additional Notes: The original Apple Cider by Windmill Ridge Cider Company is a clean, crisp green apple-focused experience. Not sour, and not candied but is a natural, easy-to-drink offering thats semi-sweet.  A touch of tanginess, it’s easy to consume with an overall very pleasant mouthfeel.  It has dessert apple elements, but holds its own unique, clean and traditional experience – meaning you can find similar products but much higher in sugar/sweetness. Showcases the apples well from a longstanding family orchard who shifted to cider making in recent years.
