Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Punchy, bright apple, slightly sweet and tart.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Semi-sharp acidity. Soft apple, with a hint of tannins. Crisp and semi-naturally sweet.
After Taste: Becomes slightly sweeter. Mostly clean finish that has lingering peel notes. Touch of earthieness in the end.
On ice: Earthy notes toned down. Slightly less crisp apple aspects.

Additional Notes:  Kawartha’s Buckhorn Cider is beaming with rural, rustic, country notes. Tasting rudimentary (in a good way), it’s got a lot of soft, crisp apples, and some earthy aspects that make it obviously made far from a factory. With some peel and stem-like notes it has a touch of natural acidity and tannins, although sweet and crisp forward.
