Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Hefty strawberry and kiwi that’s sweet, candied. A touch of green apple.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. A quick strawberry and kiwi medley – stereotypical for this flavour combo. Extra clean. Tart green apple note with little character.
After Taste: Becomes more kiwi dominant in the finish. Green apple peel notes remain the same. Becomes a bit earthy, maybe a kiwi-peel note. Long lingering fruit notes.
On ice: Ice reduces carbonation and flavour a lot.

Additional Notes: As a part of their cider seltzer lineup, Thornbury’s Strawberry Kiwi is actually pretty strong tasting for a drink with water added .It’s a sweeter choice, but not that sugary and a bit candied too.  It has a standard strawberry kiwi flavour upfront, you’ve probably tasted before. It also features a tart, green apple note throughout. We found it becomes more kiwi focused in the finish, but all fruits linger awhile. Boldly flavoured for a seltzer.
