Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Funky and pungent apples. Vivid and semi-bright. Hints of cranberry.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Semi-bright apples with some funk. Dry and sour. Cranberry is light and dry. Acetic elements.
After Taste: Infused, tart cranberry builds a bit here. Apples become softer and a bit pulpy, but they do drop out leaving some funk and fermentation to linger.
On ice: Reduced mouthfeel and overall body.

Additional Notes:  The Little Cider Company’s Cranberry Ridge is a limited release funk and fermentation forward cider. With a bright apple base that’s a bit sour, cranberry is more noticeable in the aftertaste along with a fermentation notes, and a dry finish.  It’s lighter overall in intensity and flavour, as you would guess with just the slightest of cranberry red in the colour.
