Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Creamy strawberry and hint of sweet lime. Touch of dessert apples.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Semi-smooth and crisp dessert apple noticeable upfront, when strawberry also becomes prominent.  Airy bodied.
After Taste: Apple becomes a little less noticeable.  Some more red apple peel like elements with a touch of earthiness. Lime makes an appearance closer to the end but not sour – sweet and creamy even.
On ice: Brighter with a little bit of a less body overall.

Additional Notes:  The special edition Strawberry Lime Cider by Walkerville City Cidery smells like an extra sweet offering but is more natural and crisp (and a bit more dry) than the aroma leads into.  In general, it is quite crisp, with a semi-creamy strawberry.  With red-apple peel notes, it’s still light and easy to consume. Lime is infused, but not tart or tangy – on the sweeter cider. Balanced offering of flavour and dessert apples that are somewhat clean.
