Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Mild aroma. Pulpy, soft apple. Hint of booziness. Some floral aspects.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Soft, semi-tangy, pulpy and fleshy apple that’s a bit creamy. Sweet varietal apples medley. Has a syrupy apple note to it. Nutty and peppery elements..
After Taste: Apples become smoother and dissipates quickly. Buttery aspects in the finish.
On ice: Lighter bodied. Softer apples.

Additional Notes: Carolinia’s Off-Dry Cider is a softer offering, that is indeed off-dry, but only a touch. A very fleshy cider, it is a bit creamy. Very low tannin and acidity, we presume these apples come from the “sweet” category of apple varietals, but this definitely leans drier (sweetness level) overall. A bit syrupy, the apples become softer as they go. We get unique notes of nuttiness, pepper and a butteriness within.
