Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Smooth creamy apple. Gritty, earthy, black tea.
Initial Taste: Lite bite from carbonation. Strong black tea and bright lemon elements with a clean apple base. Creamy and slightly earthy with a bit of a burnt honey element. Black tea tannin and grit.
After Taste: Becomes a little more drier, with noticeable honey that stays awhile. Remains somewhat clean.
On ice: Reduced body and intensity.

Additional Notes: Royal Tea by Spy Cider House and Distillery is an easier to drink but full bodied black tea and sweet lemon cider.  Apples are clean, tea is smooth but holds a touch of gritty, black tea tannin elements.  Almost some peach notes, it has a touch of creamy and earthy elements in the tea and lemon. Stays clean with an average aftertaste in the end.  The finish is mostly honey and none of the bitter tea remains here.
