Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Stone fruits (apricot, peach), Sweet smelling and candied. Ripe.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Sweet and candied peach with some apricot elements. Mostly fruit flesh here. Light, bright dessert apples that are semi-juicy. Citrus pop sweetness.
After Taste: Apple makes a bit of an appearance but dissipates. Has a hint of dankness at the very end, maybe from the pit also. Clean overall, with the stone fruit notes weakening but lingering a long time.
On ice: Little less sweet on ice.

Additional Notes:  The Harvest Stone Fruit by Growers Cider is a modern,  fruit-flavoured-forward offering.  With a dessert apple base, it’s mostly peach and apricot upfront. Sweet, clean and candied. With the mouthfeel and cloyingness of a citrus-lime pop (sprite, 7up), it’s not a balanced offering, leaning stone fruit flavours over apple. Sugar + body is reduced on-ice.
