Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright juicy apple. Some apple caramelization.
Initial Taste: Mild sensation from carbonation. Quick juicy, semi-crisp and bright medley of apple notes (flesh, skin, juicy, bright), Some acidity, some light tannin. Creamy flesh and peel McIntosh characteristics are noticeable. Wood barreling essences.
After Taste: Apple becomes a bit earthier, retaining a crispness to it. Clean finish after a lingering crisp apple.
On ice: Slightly watered down, including mouthfeel.

Additional Notes:  The 2024 vintage of Cold Creek’s Éirinn go Brách is a 5.5% crisp apple cider from start to finish. Focusing on a straightforward, simpler cider experience than some of their other offerings, the medley of apple characteristics taste freshly pressed. Made with McIntoshes, you get peel and flesh notes, slightly creamy even. It’s mostly noticeable to its true flavours at the end of the offering. Acidity and some light tannins, but not dominating. Apple becomes a bit more natural/earthy into the finish, and it all lingers awhile, but does offer a very clean finish when it concludes.
