Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Fresh, forward strawberry. Hint of rhubarb tartness with minimal sharp apple.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Quick tart, fresh strawberry that’s slightly thick and syrupy. Clean, sharp apple fresh base, low tannins.
After Taste: Strawberries remain fresh and bright, with the tart, clean rhubarb coming through. A touch of bitterness. Fruit juices and sugars linger awhile.
On ice: Thinner on ice, less carbonation. Slightly less thick and syrupy fruits.

Additional Notes: Heeman’s Strawberry Rhubarb Cider uses some of their own famous strawberries in this very bold, fruit-forward cider. This features a ton of thick and strong strawberry juice – being bright, sweet and tasting very freshly pressed. The promised rhubarb comes out more near the finish, being tart and a bit bitter, but blending harmoniously with the strawberry. The clean apple base is there but overtaken by the other titular fruits. Perfect for summer.
