Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Light aroma. Sweet , fleshy dessert apples. Slight sugared pear note. Clean.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Bright, semi-sweet, juicy, blended apples. Clean with a hint of tannins.
After Taste: Apples become a bit earthier, with fermentation notes mildly appearing. Clean finish with a bit of residual sugar notes lingering.
On ice: Slightly thinner body and lingering natural apple sugars. Minimal change otherwise.

Additional Notes:  Carlisle Cider Company’s Flamborough Station is a bright, semi-sweet (naturally so) offering that is clean and juice-forward. We feel this is the smoothest offering we’ve had from Carlisle so far, with minimal natural earthiness. It’s more juice-forward upfront, with a blend of dessert apple characteristics coming through. You get a hint of that fermentation in the finish but overall, it’s smooth and easy to drink, with a bit of natural sugars remaining on the palate.
