Smell: Strong aroma. Sweet candy corn. Corn syrup. Hint of bright, sweet apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Sweet candy corn flavour. Bright, fleshy apple. Caramel and vanilla.
After Taste: Becomes creamier. Corn syrup notes. Orange and creamsicle-like notes.
On ice: Slightly thinner, slightly less sweet.
Additional Notes: 1911 Established’s Candy Corn Cider is a sweet, candied experience, but it’s not a gritty, heavy sugar residue leaving sugary treat. You get a lot of candied notes here – caramel, vanilla, corn syrup, orange creamsicle, and maybe even a hint of cotton candy as well – it’s a county fair in a glass with all the candy. The apples are bright, fleshy and a bit pulpy. A very fun cider that isn’t 100% like drinking liquid candy corn, but also not far from it – less cloying than the original candies, retaining a lot of hard cider characteristics too.
