Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-sweet, soft apple. Floral and pear notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite with semi-smooth carbonation. Very minimal acidity. Semi-sweet, pulpy apple. Light bodied with floral and pear-like notes.
After Taste: Apples become brighter. Elderflower-like flavours here. Clean finish that remains pretty strong and flavourful for a long time.
On ice: Thins the flavour and body. Quite watered down.
Additional Notes: A collaboration between an Italian brewery and a French cidery, the Birra Baladin – Sidro is a semi-sweet, clean apple cider. Basically no acidity, makes this a unique cider choice. It’s light bodied, it features a lot of floral notes, in particular we get a strong elderflower-like taste here. Some pear-like notes too. Apples become brighter as the experience goes on. A very clean cider and in particular, the finish. Quite watered down on ice, not recommended.
