Smell: Light aroma. Dry, pulpy apple with some herb notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Smooth, pulpy and dry apples. Some semi-bright characteristics. Slight buttery elements.
After Taste: Minimal change, in a quick finishing aftertaste. Some more buttery notes, along with some dewy earthiness. Boozy finish.
On ice: Minimal change.
Additional Notes: The Hex 1847 Cider Dry is clean, smooth with a touch of buttery elements. Easy to drink, it’s simple but enjoyable. 7% might catch a few people for surprise. Very quick aftertaste (meaning it does not linger on the palate long). Think of this as a garden-esque cider. Only a touch of natural sweetness.
