Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Tannic and bittersweet apples. Lots of peel notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Semi-smooth and extra crisp apples that are slightly bitter. Lots of early acidity but decently clean. Highly tannic and astringency.
After Taste: Becomes more dry in the aftertaste with some grit from peel/tannins.  Fermentation becomes slightly more noticeable. A bit more caramelized body and taste. Still smooth.
On ice: Tannin and acidity reduced. Flavour remains similar.

Additional Notes:  Loch Mór Cider’s Harry Masters Jersey is another feature of their esteemed Danforth Road Series. A single varietal made with the famous Harry Master Jersey apples – a bittersweet apple originally coming from Somerset in the United Kingdom – the base has a familiarity to it, but this cider is its own creation, definitely. A highly tannic offering, it’s extra crisp and semi-smooth with some bitter elements. A noticeable acidity to it at the start, it will make you salvate at first. Becomes more gritty in the long-lingering aftertaste but remains very clean.  Some caramelized notes.
