Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Earthy peppermint. Slight sharp apples
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Cold blast of bright and bold peppermint alongside a semi-sweet and juicy apple. Mint is the focus.
After Taste: Apple dissipates leaving an almost candy finish like a candy cane. Menthol notes linger in mouth and throat
On ice: Minimal change, slightly less mint.
Additional Notes: The Santa’s Helper by Bonnieheath is a bold peppermint cider that is almost identical to a candy cane. Apple is juicy and semi-sweet, but the main flavour is a bright mint which switches between candied and very natural is primary. You almost wonder what you had, a candy or a cider in the aftertaste. Light and clean.
