Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Northern spy notes are almost exclusive. Hint of woodiness + earthiness.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite and apple upfront. Tonic and mild fermentation notes. Pineapple and honey-like notes.
After Taste: Here the northern spy actually comes out. Tangy-pineapple notes linger a bit. A dry, mostly clean finish with hints of saline notes. Somewhat long-lasting.
On ice: Thinner on ice.

Additional Notes:  Daughter Cider’s Northern Spy cider is a dry, clean offering that has unique pineapple-like notes throughout. Tangy and tonic elements are also unique to this. You really get the typical northern spy apple notes in the middle to end of the cider experience. A dry cider overall – and don’t let the heavy trub deter you from trying this obviously unfiltered choice.
