Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Bright, effervescent apple. Some fermentation notes.
Initial Taste: Medium bite, fizzy. Hefty dessert apple peel, quickly noticeable. Some flesh also. Mild natural sweetness. Honey-like notes.
After Taste: Becomes more flesh-oriented in taste. Honeydew melon + pear-like notes. Lingering peel notes as it cleans out of the mouth + a wisp of vanilla.
On ice: Reduced carbonation. Flavours are softer.
Additional Notes: Lakeshore Cider’s Dry Cider is a very freshly-pressed-tasting cider that tastes like you’re chewing on an apple peel for a significant part of the journey. Dry, with only a small touch of natural sweetness, this cider really touches on all aspects of the apple, tasting dessert-variety mainly. Unique notes like honeydew melon and pear come through. It’s got a lot of carbonation, foamy when poured, effervescent, and some fizz may end up in your sinuses.
