Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Heavy ginger + sweet spicing. Minimal apple.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. A warming ginger and cookie-notes quickly present. Cinnamon and clove. Bright but smooth dessert apple base.
After Taste: Bread-like notes and vanilla emerge. Ginger still lingers, becomes sweeter. Average aftertaste length.
On ice: A slightly thinner body. Becomes more “candied”
Additional Notes: 401 Cider’s Winter series Gingerbread cider is very accurate to the cookie it is inspired from. With a warming ginger presence, it has bread and vanilla-like notes to compliment the soothing ginger. The sweet ginger dominates throughout, with some mulling spices like cinnamon, clove and others noticeable. The apple base is soft, bright and seemingly dessert-apple focused. Leans a bit sweeter.
