Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, juicy pear.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. A quickly, juicy pear that’s extra clean. Natural sweetness with uplifting fruit notes and a tingly carbonation.
After Taste: Pear becomes even more focused, forward and a bit candied. Ends on lingering bright pear notes. Quick finish.
On ice: Watered down. Less bright pear.
Additional Notes: Cold Creek has captured the brilliance of the pear flavour, done so naturally so, in their 2022 Pear Cider. A bright cider that has a strong pear flavour throughout, that only seems to grow in intensity and brilliance as it goes on, it is so well executed and yet, still not too sweet or artificial like some pear-flavoured ciders can be (but a bit candied). Extra clean and effervescent. It’s 6.8% but barely tastes alcoholic at all.
