Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Fermented apple, hint of sulphur. Some natural pear.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Soft profile yet heavy mouth-feel juicy pear. Some pulpy apples. Sugars and natural fruit sweetness.
After Taste: Fruits become a bit drier, yet pear presents more candied. Crisp finish with lingering fruit notes.
On ice: Thinner body, with less sweetness/sugars. More apple forward.

Additional Notes:  Thornbury’s Pear Apple is a sweet pear-flavoured apple cider experience that clocks in at a strong 7.1%. A sweeter offering – maybe even cloying to some – you get both the natural fruit sugars and cane sugar notes within. The pear is a soft, juicy flavour, that has a slightly heavier (more syrupy) mouthfeel than your typical pear or apple cider. Pear ends a bit candied too and those notes stay a bit. The apple base is pulpy and weaves in and out of the pear notes. Fruits become slightly drier in the finish. For a thinner bodied experience / smoother over all, drink over ice. Maximum crispness in this cider.
