Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet pulpy apple. Juicy medley of apple notes. Effervescent.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Semi-bright, light, crisp, aromatic apples. Hints of banana.
After Taste: Acidity from apples dwindles and becomes softer. Cleans out of the mouth well.
On ice: Acidity and apple flavours reduced. A much thinner body.
Additional Notes: Saunders’ first anniversary cider release, Sixth Line, is a tribute to their farm foundations and location. A light and effervescent cider, its semi-bright and crisp – especially upfront. A medley of apple notes, as well as banana-like hints. Honey crisp apple notes/sweetness possibly. It becomes thinner in the finish and cleans out of the mouth/palate well. Very thin on ice, not recommended.
