Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong aroma. Juicy golden apples. Hint of natural apple sweetness.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Quick semi-sharp acidity from apple, in particular peel notes. Very juicy, forward Northern Spy. Some tannins and tang.  
After Taste: Apple continues strong and the same, as tannins and tanginess reduces. Ends slightly drier. Clean finish.
On ice: Reduced sharpness and tannins. Still juicy and apple-forward.

Additional Notes:  Banjo Cider’s Single Varietal Northern Spy is listed as the #7 offering in their lineup. A very, incredibly sharp and crisp apple-forward cider, you get nothing but Northern Spy apples the entire journey, and that is the point! Juicy, tannic and acidic, there is a lot of strong apple characteristics present that make this a rich offering with a good amount of depth. Off-dry but only a bit naturally sweet.
