Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Semi-tart & off-dry apples. Crisp and juicy.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Tingly acidity. Slightly tart. Crisp, juicy dessert apples that are off-dry.
After Taste: Carbonation reduces, making this even more apple-forward. Very clean and light finish.
On ice: Carbonation reduced. Minimal flavour impact other than slightly reduced crispness.
Additional Notes: Lacroix’s Original Cider is a very easy going, ‘pub-style’ cider that can be consumed with little or a lot of thought. Adaptable and approachable, its only apple focused here. Very crisp and juicy overall, and off-dry but bright. Widely available around Quebec at grocery, convenience and more.
