Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Strong aroma. Heavy floral hops with citrus and some bitterness. Crisp.
Initial Taste: Medium bite from carbonation. Bright apple notes, including mild green aspects. Floral hops that are slightly funky and dank. Mild citrus elements.
After Taste: Apple notes weaken. Becomes more hops focused and earthy. Light, semi-crisp finish with lingering savoury floral notes.
On ice: Thinner mouthfeel but little change flavour wise.
Additional Notes: Crimson Cider’s All Hopped Up overall is a lighter offering with a variety of notes throughout. It’s more apple forward upfront, with the hops notes present the entire journey. The most obvious notes that come from the hops are savoury floral – with hints of citrus-like characteristics. Not too ‘hoppy’ or intense, but is a bit on the earthy/dank/funky side. A dry ‘dry’-hopped cider.
