Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Mild tart cranberry with musty notes
Initial Taste: Mild bite from acidity. Tart and sour apple flavours with a strong earthiness and nuttiness from the nutmeg and spices.
After Taste: Cranberry comes through with staying tart apple flavours. Nuttiness and spices lingers a long time. Dry finish.
On ice: Carbonation slightly reduced. Flavour remains mostly the same.

Additional Notes: Pommies’ Cranberry Cider is a very unique cider that may not be what you think it will be like. It is more like a cider cocktail with the light cranberry presence and very noticeable spice profile than a cider with cranberry juice added. It smells more musty than it is so don’t let the smell deceive you.  It is tart, rich and decadent – very festive for the holidays.
