Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Strong cinnamon, nutmeg and caramel aromas. Hints of sweet caramelized apples with malty notes.
Initial Taste: Strong sweet bite on the palate. Malty and caramel tastes with a sticky taste and feel. Slight bitter notes from spices. Cinnamon and nutmeg are very prominent.
After Taste: Sweet notes strongly remain. Cinnamon and spices become smoother. Slight nutty notes apparent. Apple pie and maple syrup finish that lingers long.
On ice: Less foam on ice. The ice cuts some of the sweetness and spices. Alcohol flavours more drawn out on ice than without.

Additional Notes: Thornbury Spiced Cider is a very unique and soul-warming drink – perfect for fall consumption. While enjoyable in most situations, we recommend it as a dessert beverage as it is quite sweet and heavy. When the cider is heated (as per the recommendation on the can), it becomes creamier and smoother to consume with less bite and spices. Hot or cold, will most definitely remind you of your Grandma’s apple pie in liquid form and it will lull you into a cozy state.
