Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium, musty, mature apple. Extra sweet.
Initial Taste: Medium bite. Single variety, crisp apple taste.
After Taste:  Becomes smooth quickly, Semi-long lingering aftertaste that is pretty mild.  More apple skin flavours than the flesh.  Candied apple finish.
On ice:  Cuts out the carbonation a lot, similar taste.

Additional Notes:  An east-coast offering, No Boats on Sunday has a very crisp, clean single-variety apple taste.  No frills, not commercial but not overly crafty.  No Boats on Sunday could be considered a very “down the middle” classic tasting cider.

  1. This ingredient list suggests gluten free. Is it 100% gluten free and if so, why is it not labeled as such. I am celiac and what a good cider… I have tried it but want to be sure it is gluten free before I buy a bunch, please

  2. Warning – it’s not gluten-free. My partner is celiac and has had a bad reaction to drinking both flavours of NBoS
