Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium level aromas, slightly musty, very sweet and fruity
Initial Taste: Strong bite and tartness. Some astringency and earthy tones. Prominent blood orange flavour that provides some bitterness from the acidity.
After Taste: Orange flavour becomes more smooth and sweet, with notes of creaminess appearing. Bitterness and tartness disappears quickly.
On ice: Less carbonation. Takes away a lot of the bite, as well as the bitter and earthy/musty tones. Blood orange flavour remains the same but sweet tones more prominent.
Additional Notes: A very unique cider as blood orange is not a frequently featured flavour. It is very fruity and very easy to drink. The aftertaste reminds us slightly of an orange creamsicle.
