Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium aroma. Sweet, juicy apples. Some fermentation notes. Mostly clean.
Initial Taste: Minimal bite. Quickly crisp. Clean on the palate. Bright apples that are semi-juicy.
After Taste: Apple becomes more dry and slightly more tart. Some fermentation notes are noticeable here, but largely cleans out of the mouth well.
On ice: Body and carbonation reduced. Flavours slightly weakened.
Additional Notes: Yip’s Hope Cider is a middle of the road cider on many fronts. Semi-dry, mostly clean, and a medium body. Decently crisp and slightly tangy, the acidity guides and drives a lot of the journey – with some fermentation notes at the finish to remind you it is alcoholic. Easy to drink, it’s light but not too light. Nothing but apples but that’s the point!
