Cider Crate Tasting Notes:

Smell: Medium aroma. Bright, caramelized apples. Hints of grape notes.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Juicy and caramelized apples that have some bright and sharp notes. Quite crisp with a touch of melon-like elements. Clean and little fermentation.
After Taste: Becomes a bit more dry in the aftertaste. Average length with some fermenation notes more present that proves there is alcohol (2.5%).  A little earthy in the aftertaste.
On ice: Reduced elements  and less dry.

Additional Notes: West Avenue’s Petite Pomme Low-Alcohol Session Cider is just that.  An easy to drink, 2.5% cider that still has a touch of the fermentation notes that lets you know there is alcohol in it. Pretty clean overall, juicy with some caramelized notes, it has an average length aftertaste that is a bit more dry and earthy.   With some non-dessert apples obvious, this offering has elements of a low-alcohol France product, more so than other seltzer or low alcohol cider offerings in Canada.
