Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Extra light aroma. Semi-sweet and tart apples with syrupy essences.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Light, smooth and semi-bright apples. Some tannic elements. Clean. Slight floralness.
After Taste: It becomes drier and some more funky elements arise. Becomes a little earthy/apricot like, but not a huge change overall.
On ice: Flavour and carbonation dramatically reduced. “Stripped” with ice.
Additional Notes: The HD3 by West Avenue Cider is a light, heritage offering that has a slight funky finish but overall a pretty consistent journey. Some dry, apricot/stone fruit elements. Be sure to stay off the ice if you want the full flavour experience, if not, you wouldn’t get much. One of the more mellow heritage ciders we’ve had, especially from West Avenue.
