Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Semi-strong aroma. Sweet heritage apples and maple syrup. Smells ice cider-like.
Initial Taste:. No bite but some quick acidity. Notably thick with a sweet and pulpy apple base. Maple syrup flavours and feel is very noticeable right away.
After Taste: Thick, syrupy apple and maple flavours continue. Mature apple flavour with some tangy elements. Ends with mild spice notes on the palate. Overall flavour builds as you drink more. Slight syrup/film finish.
On ice: Thinner consistency and less tangy.
Additional Notes: Made by reducing the water content via a maple syrup evaporator, this fire cider from West Ave is unique and perfect for cold winter days. This cider is rich and we would recommend as a dessert slow-sipper. Obviously made with a blend of heritage apples, it is a mature beverage and it may confuse less experienced cider drinkers. On ice, it provides a differing but equally enjoyable experience. Very unique, think and extra smooth ice cider.
