Cider Crate Tasting Notes:
Smell: Medium bright and crisp apple smell with hints of must.
Initial Taste: Strong bite from the carbonation bubbles. Smooth and pulpy apple, that has some semi-sweet elements and brightness.
After Taste: Sensation from foam and carbonation lingers long. Apple flavour develops, slightly more sour in nature as sweetness drops but crisp elements remain. A little dank or earthy in the end.
On ice: Carbonation bubbles become larger but the ice significantly cuts the bite. Overall flavour is watered-down.
Additional Notes: This cider is true to its name – being fermented in the Charmat method – it is very sparkling in nature; so much so it is very close to champagne in taste and feel. Apple is bright, smooth but becomes even a bit sour with slightly dankness. Extra clean overall vibes. It is not an average cider and we would recommend it for special, sophisticated occasions, not casual drinking in a pint glass.
