Smell: Strong aroma. Bright, pulpy apple. Some boozy elements.
Initial Taste: Light bite. Clean, bright apples. Some slight acidity and grittiness. Uplifting with a hint of sweetness.  Some natural earthy elements. Black pepper note.
After Taste: Becomes a bit more boozy and grittier in the aftertaste.  Has some almost lemon-like acidity in the finish.
On ice: Minimal change, a little more impactful.

Additional Notes:  Verger Hemmingford’s Le Cidre Original is the base for their offerings, which is a classic Quebec cider. 100% McIntosh, it is bright, slightly gritty and has some natural earthy elements.  Lots of flavour, along with some boozy-ness – this offering even has a bit of a citrus finish.
