Smell: Medium aroma. Bright crisp apple. Smooth.
Initial Taste: Light bite from carbonation. Clean and crisp apple, Very fresh and juice-like. Some thickness overall. Hint of sourness.
After Taste: Apple reduces but remains for a long time. Lingering notes are very boozy + Fermentation elements. Minor saline in the aftertaste.
On ice: Slightly thinner and misses the boozy element.
Additional Notes: Thornbury’s Strong Cider is that, strong at 7.1%. It’s extra crisp and juicy, and the high alcohol level is noticeable, especially in the aftertaste. Thicker and a bit of an extra kick, it has a bit of sour elements and a touch of bitterness at the end. Slightly sweeter than your average cider, it also tastes stronger than your standard common cider.
